At daytime I am secretary, in the evening I am on stage at the “Hessische Nationaltheater Wiesbaden”. Since 2003 I am member of the “Young State Musical” („Junges Staatsmusical“) and I had my 21st premiere: 16th October 2014 with „Superhero” (Anthony McCarten & Paul Graham Brownmeine).
“But I am allowed to play in the “Small House” as well in the “Big House” with bigger roles: “La Cage aux Folles”, “Sweet Charity” and “Evita”!”
Vivian Moore in »Footloose«,
Lucy van Pelt in »You’re a good man, Charlie Brown«,
Joanne Jefferson in »Rent«,
Reno Sweeney in »Anything Goes«,
Sweet Sue in »Sugar – Some like it hot«
Dionne in »Hair«.
Madame Dindon in »La Cage aux Folles«,
Little Sister »Evita«by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
People often ask me, why I didn’t tried to get to the professional level. I try to differ between “talent” and “passion” – and I decided for myself that I couldn’t coupe with the possibility to crash in the business with my passion, not to make it.
But I can’t imagine a “normal” life without the breathe of a stage – I need it like my lungs needs the air to breathe!”
Jakob was able to make me look natural, good and my real self! We had a lot of fun to try different things and we were happily surprised by the results! He is glowing for ideas and you really feel empathy and relaxation while the Photoshooting. We will definitely repeat this one day again!
MUSICALZENTRALE – 18 OKT 2014
“Felicitas Geipel is brilliant in her role as mother Renata, whose desperatly searching for a medical cure and other methods for her sun.”
MUSICALS – THE MAGAZINE – August/September 2014
… everyone is acting with love for details … the hilarious and ordinary “Show-Battleship”, alias “Princess Puffer” in the very first place: Felicitas Geipel! … there is rarely not anywhere else an amateur-group that plays such freely as Pro’s as them!”
In June 2014 Felicitas Geipel wrote me a message, a Singer at the “National Theatre Wiesbaden”.
She liked to get some natural and modern photos for her public relation and Website.
We decided to create a part of the images on the top of a roof on the “National Theatre Wiesbaden”. This supports her professional background and was also an exciting summer adventure with an outstanding Loctation.
It was a hot and late summer afternoon and the sun was already going down at the horizone – Golden Hour time! After we went over external small little secret labyrinthine stairs, we reached the roof – the first watch was this futuristically roof antennae with these old stone Baroque Angel figures behind them. This dramatically view over Wiesbaden with nice clouds I wanted to get on my Camera.
First we started to create a Portrait Set with a Profoto D1 for a light-support. Then we did some natural light Portraits without any stoben to get a variation of styles. The pictures of this Photoshooting were delivered by a ZIP in a Web and Print resolution for the Client. They are used for Press work and her Website and also magazines. Thanks a lot for the great work with you!
