Getting married at Berleburg Castle

In the upper of the German Bad Berleburg Castles garden, just behind the riding arena, lies the “Orangerie”, in front of which is a fantastically landscaped pond with water lilies and fountains. A romantic ambience in which you simply want to say “yes”.

This is love!

Getting married at Berleburg Castle

Getting ready

The getting ready process is often one of the most cherished moments of a wedding day. As a wedding photographer, I love capturing these intimate moments as the bride and groom prepare for their big day. From the excitement and nervousness to the laughter and tears, there is a certain magic in the air during this time. The bride’s transformation into a stunning vision in white, the groom’s final preparations, and the touching moments shared between friends and family all make for beautiful and meaningful photographs. These images serve as a time capsule, capturing the emotions and anticipation of the day in a way that will be cherished for years to come.

Arrival at the Castle

The moment Sophie is entering the car to the location, it seems she is obviously released and happy.

I can feel clearly her excitement. This is an unique moment, right before Sofie arrives at the location and sees Sascha. It is a candid moment of this wedding day and often not captured. I am in the background, leaving all situations candid and real.

Now it’s time to marry. Let’s go!

Cermony begins

A wedding ceremony is a magical moment filled with emotions, and as a wedding photographer, I understand the importance of capturing each special moment. From the guests eagerly waiting in anticipation to the bride’s grand entrance, every second is precious and unique.

As the music starts playing, the bride appears, and you can feel the love and excitement fill the room. The groom can’t take his eyes off his bride as they exchange heartfelt vows, promising to love and cherish each other forever.

The moment finally arrives as they share their first kiss as a married couple. The guests cheer as the newlyweds exit the church, hand in hand, ready to start their new journey together.

Guests are emotional

As they exchange vows, I strive to capture every detail of the ceremony, from the way the light filters through the trees to the expressions on their faces. It’s a privilege to be part of such a special moment in their lives, and I feel honored to be able to capture these memories for them to treasure forever when they finally kiss each other.

The newlyweds join their guests in the garden for a toast.

The garden of the Berleburg Orangery is a perfect setting for a toast after a beautiful ceremony. As a wedding photographer, I love capturing the joy and celebration in this moment. The bride, glowing with happiness, raises a glass to her new husband, and the guests follow suit. The sun shines down on the scene, casting a warm glow over the gathering.

The vibrant colors of the flowers and the lush greenery provide a beautiful backdrop for the occasion. As the couple and their guests raise their glasses, I aim to capture the love and excitement of the moment.

These photographs are a testament to the joy and beauty of the day, and they will serve as a reminder of this special occasion for years to come.

Bridal Couple Portraits

As a wedding photographer, I aim to capture the unique personalities and love between the couple in each photograph.

As I was taking portraits of the bride and groom, a child appeared in the background. As I captured a few shots of the child, it seemed as if they were drawn to the couple. It was a beautiful moment, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it was a sign of something special. The couple embraced the child, and we captured a few photos of the three of them together.

It was a sweet and heartwarming moment that added to the beauty of the day. As a wedding photographer, I know that the unexpected moments often make for the most beautiful photographs, and this was no exception. These photos will serve as a beautiful memory of the day, and perhaps a symbol of the love and happiness that this couple will share for years to come.

Balloons, Dinner & Fireworks!

As a wedding photographer, there are certain moments that stick with me long after the wedding day has ended. One such moment is when the guests and the newlyweds release balloons into the blue sky.

It’s a beautiful and symbolic gesture, representing the love and hopes that the couple shares with their loved ones.

The guests cheer and smile as the balloons float upwards, and I capture these beautiful moments in photographs that will serve as a reminder of this joyful occasion. After this beautiful moment, everyone goes inside to enjoy a dinner filled with laughter and celebration.

As the night draws to a close, a sweet firework made out of hearts lights up the hearts. It’s a beautiful and romantic end to a magical day, and I feel honored to have been a part of it. These photographs will serve as a beautiful reminder of the love and joy that was shared on this special day.
