I lead a double-life … not secretly, but surprising!

At daytime I am secretary, in the evening I am on stage at the “Hessische Nationaltheater Wiesbaden”. Since 2003 I am member of the “Young State Musical” („Junges Staatsmusical“) and I had my 21st premiere: 16th October 2014 with „Superhero” (Anthony McCarten & Paul Graham Brownmeine).

Quote from the German “Musicals Magazine“ for “Superhero“:

Felicitas Geipel (…) is immediately awesome in „Superhero“ and shows as always all her facets and proves (…) how thin the line between semi-professional and professional can be. On the one hand you want to see her on big stages in the world, on the other hand you (…) fear that she could loose her passion for the joy of her talent.“ “But I am allowed to play in the “Small House” as well in the “Big House” with bigger roles: “La Cage aux Folles”, “Sweet Charity” and “Evita”!”

ROLES

Vivian Moore in »Footloose«,
Lucy van Pelt in »You’re a good man, Charlie Brown«,
Joanne Jefferson in »Rent«,
Reno Sweeney in »Anything Goes«,
Sweet Sue in »Sugar – Some like it hot« Dionne in »Hair«.
Madame Dindon in »La Cage aux Folles«,

Little Sister »Evita«by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

… Felicitas is happy about the perfect result!

People often ask me, why I didn’t tried to get to the professional level. I try to differ between “talent” and “passion” – and I decided for myself that I couldn’t coupe with the possibility to crash in the business with my passion, not to make it. But I can’t imagine a “normal” life without the breathe of a stage – I need it like my lungs needs the air to breathe!”

Jakob was able to make me look natural, good and my real self! We had a lot of fun to try different things and we were happily surprised by the results! He is glowing for ideas and you really feel empathy and relaxation while the Photoshooting. We will definitely repeat this one day again!

Photoshooting:

It was a hot and late summer afternoon and the sun was already going down at the horizone – Golden Hour time! After we went over external small little secret labyrinthine stairs, we reached the roof – the first watch was this futuristically roof antennae with these old stone Baroque Angel figures behind them. This dramatically view over Wiesbaden with nice clouds I wanted to get on my Camera.

The pictures of this Photoshooting were delivered by a ZIP in a Web and Print resolution for the Client. They are used for Press work and her Website and also magazines. Thanks a lot for the great work with you!
